If you are, like the rest of us, trying to watch your cash and figure out how to cut your expenses, Erin Burt, Contributing Editor at Kiplinger.com, wrote a great article on some of your money habits to audit.

I give you, in summary, Erin’s list of poor practices to avoid here.

    1. Carrying a balance on a credit card.
    2. Overspending on gas and oil.
    3. Keeping unhealthy habits.
    4. Paying for cell phone minutes you don’t use.
    5. Buying brand name instead of generic.
    6. Keep your mouth shut (on rates, prices, and discounts).
    7. Buying beverages one at a time.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
