• A Latent Longing, Observed

It’s funny that after every sentimental article I read- after every vignette of a tender moment shared between spouses and longtime lovers, of a man who is as vocal about his faith as he is about his love for his wife, of an athlete who praises his God and his teammates when he is the toast of the town, of a person who spectacularly serves or silently supports because he or she is driven by passion and courage and a love for those they live with- I pause, and I always wish I could share that story with her.

I always wish I could share the stories with her because, basically, when I think about things that encourage and enthuse, about things of the heart- about love and beauty and faith and compassion- I still stop and think about her.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
