About 10 years ago or so, I stumbled across this BBC offering on the local PBS station, and after watching the show for 5 minutes, I was hooked. I find the mockumentary comedy format hilarious, and the scripts for these shows are just brilliant. I totally love this show’s brand of humor.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I think only six “People Like Us” episodes were ever filmed for TV. Evidently the show was a radio piece before it was picked up for the telly.

If you have 30 minutes, this show is “best of class” comedy and worth a view. To me, it once again affirmed that the Brits are some of the most creative, zaniest, and humorous people on earth.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
