It’s been a melancholy day all day, so after a morning of doing little, I went for what I thought would be a short walk this afternoon in the Bosque down by the river. It became a 3 hours shuffle amidst sunlight and silence, but at least it produced a few photos. The bike path was fairly empty this afternoon. After a while a few off-trail paths beckoned, so I took a few over to the river.

The walk was a good distraction and a good chance to enjoy some fall colors. The water was moving moderately in the river south of Paseo, and there was plenty of color everywhere I walked and looked. I’ll probably have some color on my legs and the back of my neck tomorrow.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
