Today I woke up not feeling to well, so it was a joy to roll over and sleep until about 11AM this morning. Sometimes you just need that. I was feeling achy and my head felt dull.

When I got up, I maintained my need to do little today. I made some coffee. I watched “The Great Escape” with Steve McQueen and the stud James Garner. I watched college basketball. I made a late dunch- lunch/dinner- around 4. When 5PM rolled around, I turned on the Lobo baseball game on the radio. I did some dishes and cleaned the kitchen listening to the game. I audited a wargame I had never check to see if it contained all of its parts. I sneezed, and took some Emergen-C. In the 10th inning, the Lobo bats exploded, and the Lobos got their first win of the new season, a 3-1 victory over Cal Poly.

And then I turned on more college basketball. UCLA is playing Oregon for the nightcap, and space ranger Bill Walton is on the mic at the game. I always learn amazing trivial detritus attending to the man.

I won’t complain about my laziness or passiveness tonight. I’ve not felt well all day.

But I’ll get on myself again tomorrow, no doubt.

An early bedtime will be nice.

    Basketball. Baseball. Yeah. Good times.

    And sleep.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
