• “Date Night”, A Short Comedy

I had to post this little film because it was made by, among others, my nephew Brett while attending the 10th Annual Film Camp for Teens this month, a camp which is promoted by UNM Continuing Education and hosted by DATA Charter High School here in Albuquerque.

Brett has been interested in film for a few years now, and he has been developing himself both in front of the camera as an actor and behind it as an editor. Brett is a very talented young man who has also applied himself to learn how to sing and to play guitar, among other pursuits.

You can see Brett has great comedic timing in this film while playing Lars, the less than enthusiastic sidekick in the dating duo of guys. Brett not only displays his acting talents in this short, but also his editing talents.

    Nice job, kids.

And yeah, dating can be expensive.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
