    It’s all fine and good
    just a normal day
    with the sun out
    and the neighborhood quiet
    nobody working
    nobody driving
    nobody yelling
    comfy under the blanket
    until you do
wha you’ve done a million times
    and there’s a crack
    and then a leak
    oh no it’s a gusher
and you don’t know any longer
and the sunny day goes jittery white
and the quiet hides under the phone
and you got to the diagnosis place
    and sit a long spell
    with the worry
    and anxiety
    and the waiting
till you hear your name and get an idea what happened
and try to feel okay about the answer
    but still
    tomorrow it may again leak
and now the day is gone
    and less quiet
    and comfy

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
