Today, Kris Bryant, Cubs wunderkind and last year’s National league MVP, got tossed from a major league game for his first time ever, for pointing out to the ump that his called second and third strikes were horrible. That was cool.

In the same game, Cubs starting pitcher John Lackey, grumbler extraordinaire, beaned 4 guys on the opposing White Sox team- and three of them in one inning! And he still got out of the inning giving up no runs. That was fun.

Cub Ian Happ got beaned by the White Sox pitcher shortly after though. Payback. We still hit three more White Sox than you hit Cubs.

I ate an enchilada plate at Golden Pride on Lomas by the university before went to my scriptwriting class tonight. When I entered the restaurant at 5:20PM, it was empty. That was a trip. Golden Pride empty at dinner time. The enchiladas, not more normal fare, were decent enough. I was hungry, I reckon, and soon after I came in the restaurant, a few others trickled in as well.

I think I am getting pretty well to the end of usefulness for Facebook. I don’t really connect with more than a handful on there anyways, and I have prolonged convos with pretty much noone. Twitter at least gives me real time news ans sports info.

I’m tired tonight and that’s all I got. Cubs won, Bryant tossed, Lackey beans, Happ tagged, Golden Pride empty, Facebook worthlessness.

Rock on, web surfer dudes and dudettes.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
