“As Eugene Peterson said, ‘We live in narrative, we live in story. Existence has a story shape to it. We have a beginning and an end, we have a plot, we have characters.’ Story is the language of the heart. …So if we’re going to find the answer to the riddle of the earth- and of our own existence- we’ll find it in story.”
~ John Eldredge, The Sacred Romance, p. 38

The answer to who we are and where we are going lies in our ability to evaluate our lives and to wrest from our past choices the reasons for our road.

It is a gift to be able to review your life and to find the arc of your story.

It is a tragedy if you cannot- or will not- take the time to ponder your life’s past path.

    Write your own story.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
